To use Siri by tapping on iPhone

The iPhone is an Apple smartphone and uses a special operating system, namely iOS. The first iPhone was introduced by Steve Jobs at MacWorld 2007 on May 9th, 2007 and launched on June 29th, 2007. The advantages of the iPhone are that it relies on a simple user interface, a touch screen and a virtual keyboard.

Siri is a powerful feature built-in on iPhone or the built-in features on iPhone that come with your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch purchases. Siri was originally introduced as an iOS application on the App Store by Siri Inc, Siri Inc. later by Apple Inc. on May 28, 2010. Siri Inc. announced that their software would be available for BlackBerry and Android-based phones will, but all development efforts for non-Apple platforms stopped after the acquisition by Apple Inc.

Siri is widely known as a smart personal assistant that helps you get things done simply by asking. With Siri, you can use your voice to send messages, schedule meetings, make calls, and more. But Siri is different from traditional speech recognition software that requires you to memorize keywords and say certain commands. Siri understands the natural voice, or voice of the iPhone owner. To talk to Siri by tapping on iPhone:


1. Go to Settings – Tap General or Generally.

2. Tap Accessibility – Siri.

3. Activate Siri (press and hold the Home button).

4. Activate Tap in Siri – Start directing Siri by tapping.
