Later Microsoft Edge Users Can Send Links Between Devices

NESABAMEDIA.COMEdge is one of the browsers that is constantly evolving, and the most recent update for builds Canary has introduced a new function which for users will be a function that will greatly assist them in using various types of platforms and devices.

Thanks to Microsoft’s strategy of moving Edge to the Chromium engine, it’s now a cross-platform browser, so apart from being available for Windows 10, Edge is also available for Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, macOS and even Linux.

And at the same time, Microsoft has also launched a mobile version of the Edge browser, so users can install it on their devices Android as well as iOS.

Microsoft’s main long-term goal is to bring all versions of the Edge browser together across platforms. In a sense, it aims to make it as easy as possible for users to move using the Edge browser from one device to another. So, when the same Microsoft account is linked to Edge browser, users can easily and smoothly switch devices without having to lose their data and configuration in the browser.

One of the first steps of this strategy is to bring a new feature that has just been rolled out to the Canary build. Reddit account Leopeva-62 discovered the new feature that allows users to send links and tabs to other devices.

In other words, if the user is running the Edge browser on the Desktop and wants to send a link to the Android device, the user must now sign in with the same Microsoft account on Edge for PC and Android.

This function is expected by Microsoft to be as easy and comfortable as possible for users, where once the user has logged in and the device has been connected, the right-click function in the Edge browser when pointing to a link, will bring up a new option called “Send link to [nama perangkat]”

For now, this feature is still in the testing phase, so it’s likely to be a while before this feature can be present in the stable version of the Edge browser.
