How to use the trackpad on iPhone

The iPhone is a line of smartphones developed and sold by Apple Inc. Until mid-2010, shortly after the introduction of the iPad, the iPhone used Apple’s mobile operating system iOS, known as the “iPhone OS”. The first iPhone was launched on June 29, 2007, its user interface was fully developed on its multi-touch screen, including a virtual keyboard. The iPhone has both Wi-Fi and cellular connections (2G, 3G and 4G).

With the “trackpad mode” you can switch quickly and easily from text input to cursor movement, so that you can place the insertion or selection mark exactly where you want it. Instead of typing to move the cursor, you can swipe on the iPhone keyboard to move the cursor, just like you would on a laptop trackpad.

If you want to use this “trackpad” function, your iPhone must use iOS 12, as this function is only available from iOS 12 onwards. Immediately afterwards, the author will provide a tutorial on using the trackpad on the iPhone.

1. Open your application for writing.

2. Tap the text to make the keyboard appear – tap and hold the key place Have the trackpad active – Swipe left or right to move the text selection point.

This is a tutorial on using the trackpad on iPhone. Hope it’s useful.
