LIMAPAGI – PT Transportation Jakarta (Transjakarta) adjusted the hours of operation and service during the celebration of Eid al-Adha 1442 Hijriah.
On Tuesday, July 20, 2022, the Transjakarta bus service runs from 9 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. WIB.
Prasetia Budi, Director of Operations at PT Transjakarta, said this policy was implemented to provide opportunities for all staff who still need to offer Eid al-Adha prayer with their families first.
In the meantime, the services for health workers will continue to operate normally from 5:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. WIB.
“After the service, all of our employees will go back to the service of the community who still have activities outside of their home,” he said on Tuesday, July 20, 2022, on the DKI-PPID website.
Prasetia stated that Transjakarta also made route adjustments during Eid al-Adha. The lines that will operate are just regular lines that usually operate for weekend traffic.
“There are several lines that are not in operation, such as the Royaltrans line or the Cibubur-BKN (7C) line. Those who want to be active can adjust their timetables and arrange their trips with Transjakarta, ”he explained.
He added that Transjakarta still limits its customer capacity, namely a maximum of 50 percent with the stipulation that articulated buses only with a maximum of 60 customers, medium-sized buses with a maximum of 30 customers, minibuses with a maximum of 15 customers and five customers for microtrans.
Prasetia ensures that all buses that operate meet very strict health protocol standards, starting with regular cleaning with disinfectant fluid, the installation of safety distance signs on customer seats and the availability of hand sanitizer.
“In order to suppress the spread of Covid-19, especially in the Transjakarta area, we urge customers to jointly comply with all applicable regulations,” he said.
