Due to harassment, Blizzard was forced to cancel the 2022 BlizzCon Online Event

GridGames.ID – Since 2022 and 2022 Blizzard’s annual celebration, BlizzCon, has had to be canceled due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Now, due to the continuing impact of California’s lawsuit for harassment and discrimination, Bliizard has finally been forced to cancel the BlizzCon online event previously scheduled for May 2022.

In a letter sent to the community, Blizzard said that a major BlizzCon event required the time and energy of everyone at the company.

The time and energy that Blizzard thinks is important, should be used to support their team and the progress of their game development and experience.

Previously, Activision Blizzard had fired more than 20 employees amid a harassment investigation.
