Call of Duty: Vanguard Alludes to Islamic Players, Activision Apologizes

GridGames.ID – The latest Call of Duty franchise, ‘Call of Duty: Vanguard’, was officially launched last Friday (5/11).

The game comes with a story inspired by the background of World War II.

In Call of Duty: Vanguard, players will not find modern things like in other franchises.

Starting from weapons, map backgrounds, to character costumes, they will be attached to the classic feel of the 2nd World War.

Unfortunately, the presence of Call of Duty: Vanguard is not as smooth as the developer expected.

In less than a week present, Call of Duty: Vanguard immediately received criticism from players because it was considered to contain content that offended the Islamic religion.

Reported from Dexerto, one of the players found a sheet of paper scattered on the floor of the Zombie map.

The sheet of paper contains Arabic writing and looks like the Koran which is the holy book of Islam.
